Mamas & Papas Gift Finder

I could walk into any Mamas & Papas store and pick out something perfect and gorgeous for my kids. It might take me a little longer, but with a little wandering I could probably also find something just as lovely for a friends baby, or a niece or a nephew. Their clothes, accessories and toys are simply beautiful. I love the traditional look of their clothing and the cute and quirky designs of rattles and soft toys. I will admit that I always have a wish list for Mamas & Papas because their stuff is just too gorgeous, especially the liberty prints!

As a mother of 4 I have done a fair bit of baby shopping over the years, and whilst I recognise my taste isn’t always on par with others, I think I do okay when it comes choosing baby gifts.

For others however it isn’t so easy. Its not necessarily in their comfort zone to buy for babies (for many reasons) or they might just not have the time. Following on from my recent baby gift guide, I wanted to share you with you a genius discovery I found last week on the Mamas & Papas website, which has brought me quite a lot of entertainment…it is the answer to taking the stress out of buying for babies, or even for babies you might not be too sure on what to get. It is the Mamas & Papas Gift Finder.

Mamas & Papas

I think that gift buying should be fun and enjoyable. The reason they say its all about the giving, is because giving should stir feelings of excitement and joy as you purchase, and again with the anticipation of seeing the lucky person opening it. At least it should when it isn’t tarnished by the stress of wondering if it’s right, if they will like it or just trying to buy something nice whilst keeping within your budget. SO whether it is for a birthday, a christening, a baby shower or right now for Christmas, the gift finder is the answer to all of these problems and the way in which you can maintain the joy that comes from giving this Christmas to babies, expectant mothers and young children!

It takes you through a few questions where you can select who it is that is buying, your budget, the age/gender of the baby/child and what the occasion is. Then with the click of a button you will see several suggestions of uniquely tailored gifts that would be suitable with the info you submitted. I have had a lot of fun mixing it up and seeing what else they might throw at me, and have been surprised with gift suggestions I wouldn’t have considered. But either way it is a quick and very useful tool in helping you find affordable and lovely gifts for whosoever’s baby it is you are buying for this year.

From towels to clothes, and from keepsakes to nursery furniture, Mamas & Papas stuff is gorgeous and to me they just have that little bit of luxury about them! I know I would certainly appreciate any outfit or toy I received from them, so the chances are that others probably would too – so if you are racking your brains or swamped with Christmas shopping, have a little play and see what you might discover!

This is such a lovely idea, I always think it’s hard to know what to buy when your giving gifts for babies and toddlers but can’t go wrong with Mamas and Papas, I loved shopping in there when Lucas was a baby. Always forget about their lovely gifts, how nice is that Santa bauble?! xx
