Hello March!!! Well what can I say other than at the moment I am currently feeling quite a bright and comfy pregnant lady as I have began to build my maternity wardrobe…Sadly this wasn’t the case a couple of weeks ago, when hormonal and in our usual rush to get out of the door I had a mini meltdown over the reoccurring female issues of “I have nothing to wear”! This usually is not the real case as my wardrobe is brim full with lovely things, but this time I stood there with my every increasing bump, hips and top and realised that literally none of my clothes fit well and it was time to go full throttle into Maternity wear.

This very same morning I was also invited by Bonprix to participate in their bloggers maternity style challenge and the timing couldn’t have been any more perfect (inspired even)! I was so excited to be able to choose some items from their website to see me through the next few months and to style the bump in things that fit my lifestyle as a busy stay at home mum.

My initial choice was these gorgeous dungarees, which I thought would be so comfortable and versatile through spring and summer, but sadly they were out of stock! (Que some more hormonal emotions)

WP_20160227_14_01_55_Pro Despite being pregnant 3 times previously, I have NEVER had a maternity Jacket before, Iv’e just always “made do”, and being heaviest usually over the summer it hasn’t really been an issue. But when I wear this one, here in my 4th pregnancy and showing a lot through the Spring, I think “what the heck were you thinking”?!
Its so incredibly comfy to wear something that is made for the bump and its so nice to look in the mirror and look pregnant instead of just fat or squashed into clothes to “make do”. I think my new pregnancy advice would definitely be to invest in a nice jacket!!

This one is lined yet thin, so perfect for Spring/Summer, it is very well made, and I love the colour and deep pockets (perfect for when the kids are handing me a million things a day)!

Whilst I know I have good legs to be able to wear them, to me they’ve always seemed somewhat revealing and just not my thing, and then my sister in law, (20 weeks ahead in her pregnancy) said they were the best thing for a pregnant woman and a life changer and so I decided to choose a pair from Bon prix and give them ago… They are a standard price of £9.99 and yes they are incredibly comfortable. I love the thick maternity band and I love that unlike jeans I never have to tug, tamper or adjust them. I put them on and get on with my day…I love them with Tshirts for the park, Shirts or jumpers for everyday and dresses for a posher look. I chose black for the obvious reason of going with everything and they are very comfy and fit well.

The comfort of them both compliment our active, outdoorsy lifestyle, are great for school runs and every day life as a busy mum on the go… they are keeping mummy happy and looking bright and seasonal during pregnancy so its no more melt downs, but happy days out and about enjoying Spring!InstagramCapture_ed04cd4d-33a1-4302-8278-ff0882cd5697.jpgNB: BonPrix sent both items complimentary in return for a review and as part of the challenge. Thank you to them, they are really lovely and all thoughts are honest and my own…as are the pics!

My first choice was the dungarees too, I love them and was gutted when they were out of stock. The coat looks fab on you! xx
