A little bit late with our family update for March, but here we are this month…. bright, happy and in a relatively good place in life, with lots to look forward to over the coming months.
From a visit to the National space centre and Gruffalo Spotting at Dalby forest, to world book day and a day long clear out of our cellar. This month has been as random as the weather and pretty much non stop for us. We feel like we have had every weekend jam packed with either sorting the house (and life) in preparation for moving, or just a nice family adventure somewhere lovely. Throw in the week of emotions that come with mothers day, you can see why we gratefully welcomed a family break to Scotland to round up the month.
The kids have been doing amazing this month and I couldn’t be prouder. We’ve had awards left, right and centre for them both and I have been delighted to be in attendance at almost all of their assemblies to receive them. They also had a fab time earlier in the month at the school cinema night, where with the PTA I helped with snacks and we all hung out at school after watching “Shark Tale” and eating popcorn and sandwiches. They always love these little things and I love love being an observer with my involvement in the school community. It’s strange to imagine being in a new school soon when we have each found our places in this one.
I am keeping everything crossed for a moving date in April and hoping for lots of sunshine for our Easter school holidays. We hope to see baby animals, plant seeds, bake, see cousins and chase nature… I love April and Springtime and can’t believe it’s here already.
This Month we are Grateful for:
A Bronze merit award for Ethan
Most merits for Megan
A review of the National space centre
Time to clear out all of the tat from our house
Lovely spring sunny days
Easter Holidays and a trip to Scotland
