Long Sleeve Polka Dot Midi Dress

One of my favourite dresses in my wardrobe at the moment is this long sleeve, orange polka dot midi dress from Boohoo. It was bought for my birthday back in November by my lovely husband and whilst it doesn’t fit the “silky dress” brief I gave him (laughing out loud right now) it is very me and funky!

I think I have said before that it can be hard to find a modest dress that is also stylish and budget friendly, but for under 20 quid, this is all of that and more (plus it quite possibly could be on sale by now too). I love the colour (obvs – its bright and makes a statement) and the long sleeve is something I don’t have a lot of in my wardrobe so I really like that too. The tie/wrap around waist and higher neck offers a flattering style whilst being stylish, funky and very comfortable for chasing kids around!

I have been mainly wearing this dress for church on a sunday with my ankle boots, because it is an ideal church dress. But, I also feel like it would be great to wear when I start my work placement or for going out for a dinner date or party with some gold heels and bigger earrings! I may even wear it for my cousins wedding in february as it is so easy to dress up, or even dress it down with pumps in the spring!

This is a really lovely modest dress that is budget friendly and stylish too. It fits lots of occasions which means you can get plenty of wear out of it and look good for less! I  have tried to find it to link to, but haven’t seen it in my quick search – Boohoo have similar ones though and i’ve seen some in Primark too that look a little bit like this if you like it.

Love finding (or getting) new funky modest dresses!
